Preparation Time: 8 Minutes

Serves: 8 (1 serving = 2 tbsp)

Ingredients

¼ cup tahini

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp olive oil

1 - 2 tbsp maple syrup (sweeten to taste)

2 tsp ginger, minced

¼ tsp salt

¼ cup warm water

Directions

Combine Ingredients

  • Add all ingredients to a deep, narrow glass bowl or a tall blending cup.

  • Using a narrow container helps the immersion blender reach all the ingredients for a smoother, faster blend.

Blend Until Smooth

  • Immersion Blender MethodSubmerge the blender into the mixture and blend on high, moving up and down until the dressing is smooth, creamy, and fully combined, about 30–60 seconds.

  • Mini Blender MethodAlternatively, add everything to a mini blender or personal blender. Secure the lid and blend on high until creamy and uniform. Pause to scrape down the sides if needed.

Adjust Consistency

  • If the dressing is too thick, add warm water 1 teaspoon at a time and blend again until you reach your desired consistency. If it's too thin, add another spoonful of tahini.

Taste & Adjust

  • Sample the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed, more maple syrup for sweetness, more lemon for brightness, or more ginger for a bolder kick.

Serve & Store

  • Transfer to a clean jar or bottle.

  • Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Stir or shake well before each use, as natural separation may occur.
